When I moved from Germany to Australia with my partner and our baby, I had no idea what life here would look like. Having a master in Sports Science and being a journalist, I planned to write stories during nap times, but time zones, childcare costs, and reality quickly shifted that dream. I became a stay-at-home mum — and loved it — yet somewhere between sleepless nights and endless nappies, I began wondering where the woman I used to be had gone.
Then I discovered surfing.
The ocean gave me space to breathe, move, and reconnect with myself. It reminded me that I’m more than a mum — that I’m allowed to rest and do things simply because they light me up. That permission changed everything.
The ocean became my sanctuary—a place to reset—especially after moving overseas without family support. In the water, I learned to release the pressure around my career and self-worth and simply be present.
I hold a Master’s degree in Sports Science from Germany and spent several years working as a journalist. Alongside this, I’ve coached surfing for kids and adults for many years, witnessing firsthand how regular surfing can boost confidence, especially in young girls.
Through surfing, I found a community of vibrant women who supported and encouraged me during life’s toughest moments. That experience taught me the deep value of connection, consistency, and letting go of what I can’t control.
Life hasn’t followed a straight line for me. Facing challenges with honesty and resilience has shaped how I support other women—practically, compassionately, and without judgement—as they navigate change in their lives.
I am a certified Life- and Wellness Coach trained under ICF standards. I also hold a Trauma-Informed Coaching certificate from The Centre of Healing in Melbourne and incorporate NLP techniques into my work.
My dream is to train as a Surf Therapist because I believe the ocean holds a unique, healing magic that helps release stress, limiting beliefs, and negative thoughts.
Watching people's faces soften and their bodies relax as they immerse themselves in the water or start catching waves is truely exhilarating. Helping them carry those renewed feelings into their everdyday lives fills me with happiness and fulfillment.
